List of Damage Costs and Additional Charges

This document is Appendix No. 1 to the PPLCAR Public Vehicle Rental Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) and forms an integral part thereof.

This Appendix applies to each vehicle rental case.

The terms of this Appendix are binding on all Lessees using PPLCAR vehicle rental services.

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Appendix defines:

  • the cost of damage to the Vehicle;
  • the amounts of compensation;
  • additional charges.

1.2. All amounts are indicated in Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH).

1.3. Compensation shall be calculated on the basis of:

  • inspection of the Vehicle;
  • photo and video recording;
  • data from the RentSyst system;
  • invoices from service stations or service centres.

1.4. The amounts specified in this Appendix are approximate and may vary depending on the nature of the damage, the vehicle model, and the cost of restorative repairs.

2. Body Damage

  • Scratch up to 10 cm — from UAH 1,500
  • Scratch over 10 cm — from UAH 3,000
  • Dent without painting — from UAH 2,500
  • Dent with painting — from UAH 5,000
  • Bumper damage — from UAH 4,000
  • Door damage — from UAH 5,000
  • Fender damage — from UAH 4,000
  • Hood damage — from UAH 6,000

3. Glass and Lighting

  • Windshield crack — from UAH 5,000
  • Windshield replacement — from UAH 10,000
  • Headlight — from UAH 5,000
  • Rear light — from UAH 3,000

4. Wheels and Suspension

  • Tire puncture — from UAH 500
  • Tire replacement — from UAH 2,500
  • Wheel rim damage — from UAH 3,000
  • Hubcap loss — from UAH 1,000

5. Interior

  • Interior contamination — from UAH 500
  • Dry cleaning — from UAH 2,000
  • Burn mark on a seat — from UAH 3,000
  • Damage to interior components — from UAH 1,500
  • Loss of or damage to a windshield wiper — UAH 500

6. Additional Charges

  • Return of a dirty vehicle — from UAH 500
  • Fuel shortage — actual cost + 20%
  • Smoking in the vehicle — UAH 2,000
  • Loss of a key — from UAH 5,000
  • Loss of documents — from UAH 2,000

6.1. Loss of or damage to vehicle accessories

  • warning triangle — UAH 200
  • jack — UAH 500
  • lug wrench — UAH 300
  • first aid kit — UAH 180
  • fire extinguisher — UAH 350
  • safety vest — UAH 100
  • spare wheel — UAH 4,000

7. Excess Mileage

Exceeding the established mileage limit shall be charged at:

UAH 2.5 per 1 km

8. Fines and Administrative Charges

  • Traffic fines — according to the relevant official resolution
  • Vehicle towing — actual cost + UAH 500

9. Important Provision

If a specific item is not listed in this Appendix:
